Mandala comes from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘circle’. Mandalas can be found in nature, religions, cultures and architecture.
I use mandala art to help me gain balance in my life. I focus on an area of my life that needs balancing, then I begin to paint or draw with the intention of restoring balance and find healing in that area of my life.
I personally find manada art very helpful as it helps me express my emotions freely, gaining new perpective of the situation in my life.
By the time I have completed the mandala art piece I have a clear understanding of what actions I need to take in my life to restore my balance and I feel at more at peace.
